World Shift is a real time strategy game set in the far future, where the Earth is ravaged by a terrible plague that has left the human race on the edge of extinction. Now all those left are grouped into five mega-cities, fighting for the valuable resources needed to survive. But they aren`t alone, because this plague has created tribes of mutants, successors to the first human beings.
The balance between the two races is put in danger when a new alien race arrives on Earth, a threat that can only be defeated if humans and mutants join forces. Your mission in World Shift is to get that alliance and defeat the aliens.
This World Shift strategy game presents a series of novelties, among which you have the chance to modify the factions and there is also a multiplayer mode. World Shift lets players discover and add a large amount of articles and objects, without needing to look for resources, and you can change tactics at any time to surprise your enemies. But to get the most important resources you have to create teams with your best friends, and together embark on a lethal mission.
